Please read these terms carefully before using RenoStudio. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RenoStudio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, homeowners, designers, contractors, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
RenoStudio is a web-based application that helps renovation teams collect, organize, discuss, and approve renovation choices — including finishes, fixtures, layouts, quotes, budgets, and related documents — in a shared studio. Features may include AI-assisted product extraction, image uploads, comments, approvals, and export tools.
3. User Accounts
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Accounts are personal to you or your project team; do not share login credentials outside your project.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any photos, documents, comments, product details, and other materials you upload ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant RenoStudio a limited license to store, display, process, and transmit that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload and share all User Content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content; (b) harass, abuse, or impersonate others; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; or (e) use the Service for any purpose other than managing renovation projects.
6. AI-Assisted Features
RenoStudio may use artificial intelligence to extract product details from photos and labels, suggest categories, or answer project-related questions. AI outputs are generated automatically and may contain errors. They are provided for convenience only and should not replace professional advice, measurements, or verification from suppliers, designers, or contractors.
7. Intellectual Property
RenoStudio and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RenoStudio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. RenoStudio is not responsible for the accuracy of product details, prices, availability, or contractor performance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RenoStudio and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
